Actually, Mike, Canada caught a couple of breaks, but that is over and done with and I send out my whole hearted congrats to Team Canada, Mr Gretzky, and his wife, the traitorous one, who cheered for Canada like she was born there. One of my buddies mentioned that if they are so gung-ho Canadians, they should take all their stuff and move there.

HEY, now there's something to be proud of - you guys won every fight!!! It's called discipline, whereas, Cairns who in the one game had his hand taped, couldn't fight because he would have faced a suspension. The next time, the team only dressed 5 D-men because of injuries. You do the math on that one to figure why Cairns didn't get into fisticuffs. As a Ranger fan I disagree with you about Theo not coming out and being clear about what his specific problem was. Your assumptions about Theo may be right and they may be wrong, because that's all they are assumptions. You do not know the truth. This is America and he has his right to privacy. In this day and age where the media crawls up everyone's ass with a microscope to find out every bit of dirt they can just to get ratings or sell papers I find disgusting. Now, if he wants to keep his life private that's his business. As a professional athlete he deals with the media all the time and if this is one subject that he would like to keep to himself and protect his family, that's his right. It seems to me that you are a long time suffering Icelander fan. I know about all the cups in the 80's, and yes those teams were some of the best in history. Now that you think you have some sort of chance with the current team you are becoming loud and boastful. Don't get your hopes up to high, you will be out in the 1st round this while the Rangers will pull their shit together and get to the 2nd maybe even the 3rd round. In the end, I found the crackheadtheo site to be funny, creative, and good for the Rangers-Icelander rivalry. Add some fuel to the fire for the 5th game in March. Which the NYR will win decidedly .

Thanks for a decent post. First, you mentioned that you disagreed with my opinion of Theo's not being clear on his drug problem. You failed to develop that thought, which, I was hoping you would. Secondly, I totally agree that everyone has their private life, but as a professional athlete, as you mention, he should be held to a higher standard. When he displays the antics that he has over the course of the year you cant expect to be treated the same. It's like having your crack...uh, I mean, cake...and eating it too. I iterate the gestures and the violence. Third, yes I am a long suffering Islanders fan. I have been a fan since I was a kid. I am not a "bandwagonner", I have been here the whole time. So today, we have the upper hand, tomorrow, it could be the Ranger's fans that have the upper hand.

Thanks for the accolades on my site. I have worked hard to put something together that increases the rivalry. Honestly, it really has been miserable hockey for New York the past half decade. You have to admit, that this web site has raised your ire and given you that spark that hasn't been there in a long, long time.

Okay, I'll elaborate on the idea why I disagree with you. First, If he does indeed have a drug problem it is not the fans' business. The public does not the right to know everything. He should be able to get the help he needs just as any other citizen should be able to. I will admit his not coming out about it has brought about swirling rumors and has been a distraction to him and the team. But like I said previously, we cannot make assumptions about what the problem is because we are not in the know. As far as his being held to a higher standard because he is a professional athlete is ridiculous. If the league wants to fine or suspend him for his actions, so be it. But ultimately he is just a human being like the rest of us and everyone makes their share of mistakes. The goddamn President is getting oral sex in the White House for Christ's sake. What happened to him? Ultimately, nothing. If Theo wants to smoke a little crack or get rabidly intoxicated let him, he's not hurting you. In closing, again I commend you on the site. Hysterical. First things first. You are correct in saying his personal life should stay his personal life. But, he chose to attack our fans, he brought it upon himself. There is a police academy motto I heard somewhere, "I will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those that get caught." In this regards, Theo is not the only one addicted to drugs, alcohol, etc in all of Pro-sports. He is the only that is in the spot light about it right now, which is mostly his own doing. He is hurting people also...SHARKIE, the mascot, ring a bell?

you shouldn't write about things you have no clue about. I know Theo Fluery PERSONALLY, and he was NOT in rehab for coke, or an illegal narcotic.
If you wanna bash on the Rangers, thats your business. I don't care about that, so please don't take this as one of those stupid little emails.
But don't talk about things you have no clue about. He went through a rough period last season, and he's doing a lot fo work to get better, and keep his family together. Besides, there are a few guys on the islanders who have their own personal problems....so don't point fingers!

This is an unchanged email. You see, even when defending the crackhead they refuse to say what the poison was. WHY? WHY? WHY?
